Americhem

 

Americhem, based in Concord, N.C., USA, will feature products made with Americhem color and additive products for carpet, technical textiles, apparel, nonwovens and synthetic turf. In its booth (Hall 8, Stand F105), representatives will provide details on Americhem’s newly established technical center in its Manchester, U.K. plant; a new product range for nylon 6/6; and new additives, including hydrophilics, for nonwovens.

 

Avocet Dye & Chemical Co.

 

U.K.-based Avocet will showcase some new, innovative flame retardants at ITMA (Hall 8, Booth F123).  Marketed under the registered trade name of CETAFLAM®, these flame retardants can be applied to a variety of substrates, including polyester, cotton, wool, polyamide and other fibers, by padding, back coating or in the dyebath. Avocet also will show its extended product portfolio that includes acid, basic, disperse and reactive dyes.

 

Greenwave Global

 

India-based Greenwave  (Hall 8, Stand F120) will present exclusive sustainable and novel pre-treatment eco-friendly technologies for the cotton textile industry. Its polymers and enzymes for industrial use are designed to minimize pollution, providing “brilliant whiteness” and “lifetime softness” without sodium hydroxide or peroxide, the company said.

 

Marabu

 

Making its ITMA debut, Marabu of Tamm, Germany will highlight its range of textile printing inks. As well as its established TexaJet sublimation ink series and label-less direct printing using the pad printing ink TampaTex TPX, Marabu will introduce its new digital concept for water-based "cold peel" transfer printing onto T-shirts. TexaJet’s wide variety of applications includes all textiles with at least 60 percent polyester as well as rigid materials pre-coated with polyester. Meanwhile, with the newly redesigned, water-based MaquaJet DA-E formulation for “cold peel” transfer, Marabu combines the advantages of digital and screen transfer printing technologies in one application, it said.

 

Sarex

 

Textile chemical manufacturing company Sarex, headquartered in India, will feature interactive exhibits in its booth (Hall 8, Stand F102). The “Do It Yourself” part of its stand will allow visitors to perform rub fastness tests to visualize the impact its Saraguard-5700 product has on improving web rub fastness, for instance. The company also will have a display showing the efficiency of its chlorine fastness improvers for swimsuits, among its other chemical innovations, it said.

 

Turan Kimya

 

Turan Kimya of Turkey will feature its range of GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard)-certified, eco-friendly textile screen printing inks, including plastisol and water-based inks. It also will highlight pigment colors, which are ecological pigment dispersions that can be used in all water-based printing inks.
