Springs Creative announces new FR border solution

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Springs Creative Product Group announced the launch of VERGE™, a new FR border solution for the mattress industry.
VERGE™ represents a proprietary new FR technology that delivers the best in border design capabilities with a new level of FR protection, according to Springs Creative.
This all-in-one solution avoids quilting or laminating and can be sold in precut border widths, the company said. It is estimated VERGE™ will save customers 15 percent to 40 percent over any FR border solution currently on the market, Springs Creative added.
Using new, patent-pending FR technology, VERGE™ borders display a unique response when the flame impinges.
“When we first saw the results of testing and the char properties, we were amazed,” said Springs Creative Technical Sales Rep Jimmy Fleming. “The strength after the flame was equal to the strength of most other products before testing. We think VERGE™ is a real game changer in terms of design and performance value."
VERGE™ was highlighted at ISPA EXPO 2014 in New Orleans March 26-29 at the Springs Creative booth.
