COLUMBIA, S.C – The South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance will host its eighth annual
Textile Summit January 18-19 in Spartanburg, S.C.
A reception will take place at the Piedmont Club on Wednesday, January 18. On Thursday, January 19, the business session will be held at The Marriott downtown.
Speakers include:

Auggie Tantillo, president & CEO of the National Council of Textile Organizations (NCTO), who will provide a federal update;

Frank Crisp of Toray Industries, who will cover, “Toray: Our History, Products and our South Carolina Investment;”
-
Scott Baier, professor at Clemson University, who will offer a general economic outlook and update attendees on international trade agreements;
-
Lewis Gossett, president & CEO of the SCMA, who will provide an update on the alliance and state legislative issues;
-
Roy Fuhrer of The Fine Arts Center; and
-
A speaker to be announced from the Advanced Functional Fabrics of America (AFFOA).
The registration fee is $75 for SCMA members and $100 for non-members.
