SOLNA, Sweden – International Business Systems (IBS), a leading global integrated ERP and supply chain solutions provider, has been selected as a strategic partner by Eltex of Sweden, a manufacturer of stop-motion equipment for textile machines.

Eltex has operations in Sweden, Ireland and the U.S. The company will continue to invest in yarn supervision technology while also looking to diversify its portfolio into new areas such as temperature measuring systems for food handling.

This partnership marks the conclusion of a competitive evaluation process that Eltex started two years ago, aiming to achieve one consolidated, global, integrated ERP system throughout the organization. Eltex will deploy IBS Enterprise and IBS Analytics across all businesses to address issues such as integration between different areas of the supply chain, reducing the amount of manual intervention and gaining transparency throughout enterprise-wide processes globally. IBS will host the solution for Eltex in one of its dedicated data-centers, delivering a complete, reliable and robust solution on the IBS Cloud.

"We are delighted to announce this new partnership with Eltex of Sweden,” said Douglas Braun, CEO of IBS. “Throughout the process, we worked closely with its team and listened to its concerns, adjusting our solution and methodology to best accommodate Eltex's operational needs and business culture. It was a good fit on both sides."

"In the end, the key difference between IBS and its competitors was its focus on our needs and our business,” said Brian Hicks, managing director of Eltex. “IBS demonstrated a partnership approach and a level of responsiveness that made it the right choice for Eltex of Sweden. The rich, standard functionality of IBS Enterprise and Business Analytics, combined with its global organization and presence aligns well with our needs."
