ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Five plenary speakers will take part in Geotechnical Frontiers 2017, the industry's largest event, scheduled for March 12-15, 2017 in Orlando, Fla.

 

Speaker names were announced this week.

 

"We feel our lecturers are an outstanding group who will provide insight, inspiration and education for our attendees," said Geotechnical Frontiers 2017 Secretary General Barbara Connett.

 

The plenary sessions feature the first-ever Robert M. Koerner Award and Lecture presentation. The speaker schedule is as follows:

Geotechnical Frontiers 2017 is co-organized by the Geosynthetic Materials Association (GMA) and the Geo-Institute (G-I), and is supported by the North American Chapter of the International Geosynthetics Society (IGA-NA), under the auspices of the International Geosynthetics Society (IGS).

 

Advanced registration for Geotechnical Frontiers 2017 is open through Friday, December 16. Members of IFAI, GMA, ASCE, G-I, IGS or one of 20 supporting organizations qualify for discounted rates beginning at $650 for full registration, with short courses and single-day registrations also available. After December 16, the full registration rate will rise to $750 for members and $850 for non-members.
