As a part of implementing its core strategies, Rieter said it emphasis innovative strength and profitability as well as the development of after-sales business over the next three years.

 

In order to accelerate the development of after-sales business, functions that have operated in the Spun Yarn Systems business group will be combined into an additional business group as of January 1.

 

The board of directors appointed Carsten Liske to the group executive committee as head of the After Sales business group.

 

The 41-year-old plant and productions engineer ETH has worked for Rieter since 2009, recently as senior vice president of operations of Spun Yarn Systems. In this capacity, Liske contributed important developments for the global supply chain and the business in China, the company said.

 

With the new organization coming into effect, Rieter said it will also adjust segment reporting.
