MILAN – At ITMA, Navis TubeTex of Lexington, N.C., announced that N.R. Group of Bangladesh officially signed a sales agreement for a complete line of Navis TubeTex machinery.

N.R. Group will install a Pak-Nit e3+ Tubular Compactor, a TM-100 Open-Width Compactor, a Master-Nit II Relax Dryer and the new SCS Spirality Correction System to enhance its production technologies in Bangladesh.

N.R. Group is one of the leading knit fabric finishers in Bangladesh. The decision to buy Navis TubeTex was based on the advanced technology and excellent after sales support that Navis TubeTex is well known for globally, according to Navis TubeTex President & CEO Will Motchar.

Beyond the sale, Motchar called the show “very successful.”

“The venue was well laid out and attractive,” he said. I felt the exhibitors and visitors were positive on the industry and excited to have a ‘vibrant’ ITMA exhibition. Both the number of visitors and the quality of visitors were the best that we have seen in a long time (at an ITMA).”

The demographics of Navis visitors were much more diverse than past shows, he said.

“As always, we had many visitors from the Indian sub-continent, Southeast Asia, Turkey and the Americas,” Motchar said. “We had a lot more visitors at this show from the Middle East, Africa and Western Europe. All of our visitors were key decision makers and have specific projects/investments they are looking at. We usually see a lot of ‘tire kickers,’ but we didn’t have that this year.”

Navis TubeTex had 240 square meters of exhibition space to showcase the latest advances in finishing. The company displayed advancements in energy conservation, advanced finishing technologies and quality production techniques. The company showed three machines: the TM-100 Open Width Compactor; the totally new Pak Nit e3+ Tubular Compactor; and the new model N-Dura 1000 and N-Dura 2000 stenters.

“We always draw a lot of attention with our core products of compactors, pads and dryers and that was true this year as well,” Motchar said. “However, our newly launched Spirality Correction System and the N-Dura tenter frame were big draws this year. The majority of visitors to our booth were interested in one of these two products.”
