Another new product shown was Klüber Silvertex HS-68, which has been designed, tested and approved in close cooperation with a leading manufacturer of large circular and high-speed knitting machines. With Klüber Silvertex HS 68, speed factors of more than 2100 can be achieved, i.e. 70 rotations of a 30" machine, the company said. Thus, a daily output of more than 1500 kg of single knit fabric is possible with this product.
Also on show was Klüber Madol 900 N, which was especially developed to meet the requirements of modern mechanical knitting machines and reliably lubricates needles, sinkers, needle cams, needle cylinders, dials and sinker rings. This special oil offers good wear protection, hence extends the service life of the stitch-forming elements, the company said. Moreover, Klüber Madol 900 N ensures smooth running due to its oscillation and noise damping properties. The oil is scourable using conventional washing liquors and is compatible with elasthan fiber.
“I thought the location and facilities were very good,” Poston said. “The ease getting into and out of the exhibition halls seemed to flow well.”

MILAN – Among companies reporting an excellent ITMA was Klüber Lubrication, the Munich-based manufacturer of lubricants for almost every textile segment.
“The quality of visitors was impressive,” said Charles Poston, market manager-Textiles. “Many times all our tables were full with potential or existing customers from around the world. We took more than 700 leads worldwide.”
The company’s new Klubermatic, single-point lubricator was well received at the show, he added. The automatic relubrication system enables reliable and precise lubricant feed to the friction points at adjustable intervals, thus preventing excess lubrication, he said. Its new PFPE high-temperature grease drew much interest, he added.
Klüber also showed its Klübersynth 80 KV, a new, aging-resistant, high-temperature gear oil for weaving machines. This synthetic oil based on polyglycol offers an excellent viscosity-temperature behavior, a high load-carrying capacity and reliable protection against wear, according to the company.
