The Southern Textile Association (STA) will hold its Southern Division Fall Meeting on Tuesday, November 15 at The Madren Conference Center in Clemson, S.C.
Matt Shannon of Greenwood Mills serves as chairman of the division.
Featured speakers include:

Augustine Tantillo, president and CEO, National Council of Textile Organizations (NCTO), who will cover the council’s “We Make Amazing” campaign and trade matters;

Carl Tolbert, director of Engineering, B&D Technologies, who will discuss his company’s technologies;

Chuck Butts, technical engineer/Sales, Murata Machinery USA, Inc., who will go over his firm’s latest machinery technologies;
-
Oliver Meier, sales representative, Staubli Corporation, who will delve into weaving technologies;

Dr. Scott Baier, associate professor, Clemson University, who will provide an economic update; and
-
Cheryl Stanton, director, S.C. Department of Employment and Workforce, whose topic will be “Creating A Talent Pipeline.”
A golf outing is scheduled after lunch.
