This year, the American Textile Machinery Association’s (ATMA’s) management firm, Association and Society Management International (ASMI), supported staff to earn the Qualified Association Specialist (QAS) certificate program offered by the Florida Society of Association Executives (FSAE).

The program requires completion of 12 modules, including sessions on nonprofit financial management, meetings production, legal issues, structure and governance and more. A quiz after each module verifies satisfactory completion.

This month's FSAE feature story details ASMI's commitment to professional development. See http://issuu.com/flsae/docs/sepoct2014, pages 16-17.

ATMA staff earning the QAS include Beth Armstrong, Sue Denston, Julie Husk, Sharon Kelly, Kate McClimans, Sherry Meyers, Michelle Savoie, Dawn Shiley, Clay Tyeryar and Ian Weston. Additional and new staff will enroll in the QAS program in 2015.
