Under Armour executive Keith Hoover will deliver the keynote address at the National Networking Conference of SEAMS, the National Association for the Sewn Products and Textile Industries.
The meeting will take place October 29-31 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tenn.
Recognized as a global pioneer in developing and implementing manufacturing-centric product development processes, Hoover will discuss his company's "Made Here, Made Possible" initiative that aims to drive Under Armour’s expansion with better product and a more-efficient, responsive supply chain.
Hoover's expertise spans creative product design through technical manufacturing execution. He started his career as a commercial artist and fashion illustrator for such brands as Brooks Brothers and Ralph Lauren. He moved into product development, devising color management programs for Target, Lands' End, JCPenney and Under Armour. He has also worked hands-on in mills worldwide and led development for multi-million dollar textile programs in China, India, Pakistan and Korea.
Entitled "Spurring Opportunities for Growth," the Networking Conference will also feature an Industry Leaders Fireside Chat, an update on the exploding Nashville Fashion Scene, an IT & Technology Panel Discussion and other informative sessions. The event is expected to attract sewn products manufacturers, brands, retailers and suppliers.
