MONROE TOWNSHIP, N.J. – Shima Seiki USA will host its fourth Global Knitting Seminar (G3D-4) Oct. 3-4 at the Shima Seiki Design Center in Los Angeles.
Attendees will be able to learn more about fiber and yarn innovation, domestic manufacturing and WHOLEGARMENT apparel, as well as ways Shima Seiki can streamline business.
Keynote speakers will represent yarn manufacturers, knitting factories, apparel brand and designers, automotive industry experts, medical industry experts and other industry professionals.
Shima Seiki’s WHOLEGARMENT MACH2XS knitting machines will be running, and its SDS-One APEX3 all-in-one design system will be demonstrated. With consistent advancement in original technology that anticipates market needs, Shima Seiki’s computerized knitting machines have now become the global standard. The MACH2XS machine uses four needle beds and is able to product complete garments that require no extra linking.
The APEX3 system supports 3D mapping and simulations. This specialized software included in the hardware is an ideal tool for fashion design, clothing design and apparel design.
