The International Society of Industrial Fabric Manufacturers (ISIFM) will hold its Fall Conference Oct. 2-3 in Charlotte, N.C.
The meeting will take place at the Double Tree Suites.
Karen Middleton of N.C. State’s College of Textiles will keynote. She will discuss “Attracting Millennial Talent Using Behavioral Economics.”
Other speakers include:

Keven O. Strand of C.A. Litzler, who will discuss “Innovations in Tire Cord Treating;”

Dr. Soeren Butz of Synthomer, who will cover “The Formaldehyde Challenge;”

Steve Sheiff, who will lead a Treating Workshop; and
-
Dr. Jon Connaughton, professor of economics at UNC-Charlotte, who will provide an economic update.
The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. on Oct. 2 and conclude at 10:45 on Oct. 3.
Chuck Senne of Beaver Manufacturing serves as ISIFM president this year.
