DALTON, Ga. – The American Floorcovering Alliance (AFA) announced that Örnek Machine Heat Set USA has joined the association.
For more than 50 years, Örnek has manufactured heat-setting, textile, bulking and cake-making machines for processing nylon 6, nylon 6,6, polyester, polypropylene, acrylic and wool yarns for the carpet, rug, upholstery and knitting industries.
The company’s vision is to educate the industry on the technology, production and quality of textile machines while setting the world standard within its category, according to the AFA.
Örnek currently has two MD60 – 72 End Frieze heat-setting machines at the Engineered Floors SAM Plant here.
“We are very excited that Örnek Machine Heat Set USA has joined the AFA Membership,” said Wanda Ellis, executive director for AFA. “There is no other association that offers the networking, resources and stage for textile technology introductions.”
A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Örnek Machine Heat Set USA offices will take place in Dalton. All are invited to attend and welcome Örnek to the North Georgia community. The ribbon cutting and luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at 1581 E. Walnut Ave.
Abdullah Dabaniyasti, chairman of both Örnek Makine in Gaziantep, Turkey and Örnek Machine Heat Set USA in Dalton, will be on hand for the celebration.
