NORTH WALES, Pa. – TSG Finishing, LLC announced that Brian Rosenstein and Michael Goldman have been elevated to the roles of CEO and president, respectively.

Rosenstein and Goldman represent the fifth generation to head the Pennsylvania-based company.

Founded in 1901, TSG Finishing, LLC has been operating as a privately held, family-owned corporation since its inception – growing from a small business in a single location to one of the largest textile finishing operations in North America with four operating facilities in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

"With the relaunch of our DEFEND® brand, Brian and Michael have truly taken over the reins of TSG and are pushing this company headfirst into the future,” said Jack Rosenstein, the former CEO. “While Jeff (Goldman) and I aren’t stepping down, we plan to work more as advisors to Brian and Michael and are excited to see the growth that results from their stewardship.”

TSG recently relaunched it’s DEFEND® brand as a high-performance water and stain repellent, targeting both the residential and contract upholstery markets.

“The brilliance of DEFEND® is that you aren’t limited to a select line of fabrics from only one or two manufacturers. DEFEND® gives you the option to pick any fabric for any installation without hesitation. It’s truly Your Fabric + Our Protection,” said Michael Goldman, the new President. “DEFEND® works with all of our backing choices, including our renown moisture barrier backing.”

The first directive of the new leadership team was the implementation of a 401k-based profit-sharing plan for all employees, the first such plan in the company’s history.

“Michael and I have more than 35 years combined experience at TSG, including our time spent running ranges and working on the manufacturing floor,” said Brian Rosenstein, the new CEO. “Investing in our team is a must to ensure the same high levels of service and quality we’ve been delivering for 116 years.”

TSG Finishing, LLC is headquartered here and has four plants in the Hickory, N.C. area.
