NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. – Howard Printz, president of Greenville Colorants’ Global Textile Group, announced the relocation of its Dalton, Ga., operations and the appointment of a warehouse and inventory specialist.
The company is opening a facility at a newly acquired site at 407 North Park Drive in Dalton.
"We started a year ago with a business model developed over the years by our team of carpet industry veterans,” Howard said. “This model, widely replicated by others, was our starting point. We spent this past year developing more advanced systems and strategies to ‘raise the bar’ to new and higher levels of service, quality and value. The new site is one small piece of our much larger vision and commitment for the carpet industry."
Along with the relocation, the addition of Blake Webb as warehouse and inventory specialist was announced.
“We were seeking a bright young person to join the team that we felt could grow rapidly with the company,” Howard said. “Blake certainly is all we could have hoped for and more. Blake has an excellent military background that we believe will aid him in bringing discipline and structure to our everyday operations. Blake also worked with Amazon and we think this has him already attuned to adapting technology and improved methodology to serve our customers. We are committed to lead the way into the future of this industry.”
Joseph Lynch, CEO of Greenville Colorants, added: “Greenville is very well known in many industries but we consider ourselves newcomers to the carpet and rug business. All our carpet experience before one year ago was selling through other color companies, and as we have learned selling direct is different in this particular business. We are just over a year into the Dalton business and we are excited about the community and the eager acceptance of our products and value propositions. We are completely convinced that we have an exciting future in the carpet industry as a leading supplier of all types of dyes and masterbatch colorants and additives.”
