LOWELL, Mass. – At an annual fall luncheon on September 8, a new class will be inducted into the American Textile Hall of Fame by the American Textile History Museum (ATHM).

 

ATHM will induct the Weavers’ Guild of Boston and the late Deborah Pulliam into the hall. Pulliam is a noted textile artist, historian and writer.

 

The American Textile Hall of Fame was initiated in 2001 to honor past and present individuals, corporations and institutions that have made significant contributions to the textile industry in America, as well as those who have advanced the place, role and appreciation of textiles in American life.

 

Class of 2014 event details

10 a.m. – Tours of the American Textile Hall of Fame at the American Textile History Museum;

 

Noon – Luncheon and induction ceremony at the UMass Lowell Inn & Conference Center.
