The revised ISO 9001:2015 will be the standard audited to by all Certification Bodies (Registrars) starting in 2018. In preparation, Forward Motion Associates, LLC is presenting ISO 9001:2015 internal auditor training.

 

A special $50 discount is being offered to all members of the Southern Textile Association (STA) and the Synthetic Yarn and Fiber Association (SYFA), according to STA member Terry Krauss of Forward Motion Associates.

 

The training will take place Sept. 12 and 13 in Whitsett, N.C., from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.

Who will benefit?

Anyone interested in ISO 9001:2015 internal auditing, such as internal auditors, personnel who will oversee and maintain the Internal Quality System for ISO 9001 registration, management, quality managers, production managers, production supervisors, operators and technicians or someone who has had previous auditor training but has not audited in some time and may need to brush up on their skills.

 

This is an interactive, hands-on course with small group breakout sessions and roleplaying. A detailed training manual is included.

Course instructor

Barbara Hodges is a Lead Assessor, ASQ CQA (Certified Quality Auditor), CQIA, Philip Crosby QES Instructor and OSHA Outreach Trainer.

 

She recently retired after more than 25 years with Quality Management Systems, with responsibility for the implementation of eight successful ISO 9001 registrations, including QS 9000. These firms included third-party logistics for companies such as IBM and Lexmark, assembly, warehouse operations, manufacturing including plastic injection molding and wire harnesses for the marine and garden tractor industries.

 

Hodges has worked as a consultant and hands-on trainer and possesses extensive knowledge of how to implement ISO 9001 programs, including how to develop and maintain an internal quality program, conducting auditor training and working with Registrars. Her experience also includes the development and auditing of suppliers and liaison for customer audits.

Hodges brings vast personal experience and wisdom gained from working directly with all levels from floor to top leadership.
