The Sewn Products Equipment & Suppliers of the Americas (SPESA) organization will host an “Advancements in Manufacturing Technology” conference for apparel and sewn products manufacturers on Thursday, September 17 at the Sheraton Airport in Charlotte, N.C.

To be successful in today's competitive industry, it's important for all apparel and sewn products manufacturers to stay current with new developments and advancements in technology. Despite the recent global economic difficulties, innovative companies continue to add new technologies to their manufacturing operations.

The full-day conference – targeted at mid-level and upper-level managers and supervisors – will provide vendor-neutral, factual information to help manufacturers improve their quality and production efficiency while at the same time reducing their lead-time requirements, SPESA said. The conference begins at 8:15 a.m. and should adjourn at 5:15 p.m., followed by a networking reception.

Mike Fralix, president of [TC]2 and a SPESA board member, will again serve as conference moderator.
