According to a new market report by Smithers Apex, the global nonwovens market will experience projected annual growth rates of 7.6 percent (tonnage) between 2013 and 2018. Geographically, Asia will continue to grow in both tonnage and market share, reaching 47.5 perent by 2018, with Europe maintaining its second position while North America remains in the third place.
As such, EDANA and ITMA 2015 organizer MP Expositions will jointly organize a Nonwovens Forum on 16 November at ITMA in Milan, Italy, under the theme “Nonwovens: A World of Growth and Opportunities.” The forum will address pertinent issues, challenges and opportunities in the rapidly evolving world of nonwovens.
In this forum, Jacques Prigneaux, the Market Analysis and Economic Affairs director of EDANA of Belgium, will also provide good insights into 2014 production figures for nonwovens, including the recent trends and forecasts together with the international trade dynamics.
