JEFFERSON, Ga. – Sewn Products Equipment Company (SPEC), based here, announced that it has acquired Ahearn Denning Cutting Machine Incorporated of Los Angeles.

 

SPEC is currently a leading global supplier to the soft goods and allied industries with a wide range of equipment, parts and services that covers a multitude of applications. By adding Ahearn Denning to the SPEC family, there will now be offices on both coasts of the United States as well as San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

 

The vast range of equipment offered by SPEC will now be available from Ahearn Denning Machines and will grow the customer interest from what is now mainly apparel companies to include furniture and upholstery, carbon fiber and industrial fabrics, fiberglass, leather and vinyl among many other soft goods industries. The vast range of equipment and services now available from SPEC and Ahearn Denning Machine makes these companies a true, single point source, with multiple solutions for today's soft goods manufacturers.

Ahearn Denning Cutting Machine will now operate under the name Ahearn Denning Machine. Operations under the new entity began on August 1.
