HIGH POINT, N.C. – Culp Home Fashions, a leading marketer of mattress fabrics for bedding and a division of Culp, Inc., announced that Jeff Tsacoumangos has been named director of Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement.
In this newly created position, he will be responsible for the oversight of quality assurance for all Culp Home Fashions’ manufacturing plants and product lines and ongoing development related to continuous improvement initiatives. He will report directly to Iv Culp, president of Culp Home Fashions.
Tsacoumangos brings more than 15 years of progressive operations management experience to Culp Home Fashions. He has worked with manufacturing organizations on a variety of large-scale quality and continuous improvement projects and has extensive training experience as an instructor in Lean Six Sigma concepts and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
He holds additional professional designations including ASQ CMQ/OE certification, PMI Project Management Professional and Certified Lean Practitioner. Tsacoumangos has an undergraduate degree in occupational and technical studies from Old Dominion University and an MBA from Wake Forest University.

Culp Home Fashions reported record annual sales of $186.4 million for the latest fiscal year ended May 1.
