RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – The American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) will be exhibiting at the Sourcing at Magic show, scheduled for August 16-19 in Las Vegas.
The association will be sharing Booth #SP65509 with North Carolina State University’s College of Textiles in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
On August 16, AATCC will participate in a smart textiles seminar series at the Magic Show at 2:30 pm on the North Hall, Level 2, Room N250. The seminar is entitled “The New Tech/Smart Textile Movement: A Seminar for Beginners to Industry Leaders.”
If you are launching a new brand or refreshing an established product line, then you know designing, sourcing and integrating all things “smart” into the mix is a requirement for success. AATCC’s expert panel will excite you with new opportunities and guide you through the challenges of embracing the next generation of textiles.
Dr. David Hinks, interim dean at N.C. State’s College of Textiles, will be the moderator for the session. The panel includes educators and executives from the industry:
-
Nancy Marino, partner, Columbus Consulting;
-
Diana Wyman, technical director, AATCC;
-
Tom Snyder, assist industry liaison, N.C. State; and
-
Despina Papadopoulos, wearable technology services, WWA Advisors.
