RALEIGH, N.C. – For the third year in a row, Glenna Musante, former features editor for AATCC Review, has won an international writing award for her work writing about fashion and the global textile industry.
The award, which is called a Tabbie, was an Honorary Mention for best feature magazine article in a trade, association or B2B publication.
The 2016 Tabbie Awards featured more than 400 entries, with nominations from publications in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, India, Ireland, United Arab Emirates, Singapore and South Africa. The Tabbies are sponsored by TAPBI, Trade Association Business Publications International.
Titled “A New Spin on Laundry Day,” Musante’s article appeared in 2015 in AATCC Review. AATCC is a major global textile industry association, and the organization that sets the wash and durability standards for clothing and other textile products sold in the United States. AATCC Review has a global readership, and is one of the most respected publications in the textile and fashion industries.
Musante writes extensively about fashion, performance wear, military textiles, the U.S. textile industry and the massive and growing yoga market. She is the former fashion writer for Yoga Digest and the travel writer, and a bridal fashions writer, for Southern Bride & Groom. She is also a former staff writer for the Raleigh, N.C. News & Observer and has written for The New York Times.
