WASHINGTON, D.C. – Representatives from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Office of Textiles and Apparel (OTEXA) will hold a webinar overview of the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system for the textiles and apparel industries.

 

The date of the webinar has been changed and will now take place Tuesday, June 28 at 3 p.m. EDT.

 

The event will include information on these topics, as well as a question and answer session for webinar participants:

 

  • An overview of the transition to ACE from the Automated Commercial System (ACS), other legacy electronic systems, and paper filings, highlighting any specific impacts on textile and apparel shipments;

  • Affected forms and new/updated business processes;

  • Key upcoming dates, including the implementation of the ACE Quota module and other functionality on July 23; and

  • An overview of how the transition to ACE will impact filings under OTEXA’s Haiti and Dominican Republic Earned Import Allowance Programs (EIAPs).

 

There is no charge to participate in this webinar, but advance registration is required.
