DALLAS – Bulwark, the world's largest flame-resistant (FR) apparel brand, announced plans to augment its product offering in the FR category with Westex by Milliken's Ultrasoft fabric. The announcement was made in conjunction with Safety 2015 Conference and Exposition.
In 2014, Bulwark and Milliken & Company revolutionized the flame-resistant (FR) apparel industry through advanced chemistry and garment design to create the Bulwark iQ Series™, FR workwear that achieved new levels of comfort. During this time, Milliken also acquired Westex. Now, the relationship comes full circle, as Bulwark will offer the Westex by Milliken Ultrasoft fabrics in a variety of stocked garments.
"This partnership strengthens our ability to provide the world's most comfortable, reliable and protective FR apparel for those in hazardous lines of work," said Chris Holcombe, Bulwark vice president and general manager. "The new innovations coupled with existing market-proven fabrics position Bulwark to expand its leadership role in the flame-resistant market."
