CLEVELAND – National Safety Apparel® (NSA), a leading manufacturer of safety apparel, announced the acquisition of DRIFIRE® from Optimer Brands, based in Chicago.

DRIFIRE® is a brand of technologically advanced performance safety apparel that was born on the battlefield to protect military personnel. Today the DRIFIRE® line of products is utilized in a variety of industries, which include power generation, petrochemical and INDYCAR racing.

The acquisition of DRIFIRE® further increases National Safety Apparel’s portfolio of flame resistant (FR) brands and adds another market leader to their already established “House of Brands.” The DRIFIRE® line of safety products will be promoted to National Safety Apparel’s distributor-partners alongside their existing ArcGuard®, Vizable 360°™, Carbon Armour™, HYDROlite FR™ and TECGEN Select™ brands.
