SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Leigh Fibers has announced the promotion of Daniel Mason to vice president of Sales and Purchasing.
Mason was previously director of Sales and has worked his way up through a number of manufacturing positions as well as management levels.
“Daniel is uniquely qualified to lead our sales and purchasing efforts since he has been involved with all aspects of quality, manufacturing, sales and purchasing of our products and raw materials,” said Don Bockoven, Leigh Fibers president.
Mason joined Leigh in 2005 and while working there received a bachelor’s degree in business and management from Limestone College. He has since held numerous positions including; director of Materials and Scheduling, director of Materials Purchasing, Sales Account Executive and business director for Leigh Fibers’ sister company, ICE Recycling, LLC. He also holds a certification as an ISO 9001 lead auditor.
