AIKEN, S.C. – SEAMS, the National Association for the U.S. Sewn Products Industry, will focus its Spring 2015 Conference on helping fashion, textile and other soft goods companies grow their businesses in the expanding domestic manufacturing environment.

Scheduled for April 23-25 at the OMNI Grove Park Inn in Asheville, N.C., the “Growing U.S. Manufacturing: Overcoming the Challenges” event will inform and engage manufacturers, brands, retailers and suppliers through a series of presentations, group discussions and networking sessions. Professionals from every part of the sewn products supply chain are encouraged to register here.

“After years of discussion about re-shoring, near-shoring and still-shoring, many companies have now moved beyond the talking to the doing,” said SEAMS Executive Director Sarah Friedman. “We want to help our industry identify and seize the opportunities that are available to them through U.S.-based manufacturing. Industry and academic leaders will facilitate this by also sharing their views and experiences on how to address the obstacles that may be limiting growth for some. We believe that all sewn products supply chain participants can benefit from these powerful presentations and networking opportunities.”
