With a mission to invent, patent and brand the most environmentally friendly, reliable and high-performance surface solutions in the world, Revl serves as a perfect complement to Crypton’s trusted fabric portfolio. Revl was developed over a two-year period in collaboration with O’Sullivan Films to offer a surface solution that would satisfy today’s concerns surrounding disease and infection control.

“Crypton Fabric is the perfect solution for many applications, but there are places where fabric is not a viable solution,” said Randy Rubin, co-founder of Crypton. “Over and over we’ve been hearing ‘we’re going back to vinyl,’ so we made the decision to apply our technology and expertise to creating a new level of performance for this product category.”

Thanks to its technologically advanced molecular structure, Revl is more durable after repeated cleanings and is more resistant to humid environments. Revl easily releases permanent marker, denim dye transfer and food stains, withstands repeated cleanings against the industry’s harshest disinfectants, resists a wide spectrum of bacterial and fungal growth, and offers superior protection against cracking and wear. The technology is integrated into the engineering process of the vinyl, allowing it to maintain its original appearance and performance properties after repeated cleaning, while also achieving low levels of gloss for aesthetic appeal.

“There’s a science behind Revl. Our collaboration with Crypton is bringing something completely new to the market,” said Michael Fisch, sales manager at O’Sullivan Films. “We’re proud of what we have developed together and look forward to seeing the impact it will make on the industry.”

Revl has received GREENGUARD® certification, ensuring that it meets rigorous standards for low emissions of VOCs into indoor air.
