LEXINGTON, N.C. – Navis TubeTex announced a strong first quarter for its Marshall and Williams (M&W) business unit but did not release specific financial details.

 

Navis TubeTex purchased Marshall and Williams in 2000 and retained all the rights and patents for the company. Prior to the acquisition by Navis Tubetex, M&W was primarily focused on supplying the U.S. market.

Since acquiring M&W, Navis TubeTex has expanded the business internationally, installing numerous M&W tenter frames around the world. The tenter frame is the primary product line for M&W and is world renowned for its high productivity, energy efficiency and ability to process difficult fabrics and substrates for a wide variety of applications.

 

The company said it has seen strong results for tenter frames as well as replacement M&W chain. Navis TubeTex said it has maintained the quality, performance and life of the M&W tenter chain product line.

 

The company added that it is encouraged by the surge in replacement chain demand and said it feels positive that this trend will lead to increased tenter frame installations in the near future as well.
