GAFFNEY, S.C. – Hamrick Mills announced today that Cameron W. Hamrick has been elected president of the company.

 

Hanmrick is a fifth-generation family member of the company’s founder, Dr. W.C. Hamrick. He graduated Clemson University in 2001 with a degree in textile management and then started his career with National Textiles in its management training program. In 2004, he returned to Hamrick Mills and has worked in various capacities with the company since that time, most recently as vice president of Manufacturing for the company’s Musgrove Plant.

 

He lives in Gaffney with his wife, Brooke, and daughter, Adrienne.

 

In related business, W. Carlisle Hamrick and A. Wardlaw Hamrick have been elevated to co-chairmen of the board, Charles Hamrick has been re-elected secretary/treasurer and David Dorman has been re-elected assistant treasurer.  

 

Hamrick Mills is a 116-year-old family textile company with two plants, Hamrick and Musgrove, both located here. The company is a leading producer of greige fabrics that go into the apparel, home furnishings and Industrial markets and is firmly woven into the fabric of the county, the state and the textile industry.
