Adaptive Control, with North American operations in Huntersville, N.C., provides PC control systems and integrated monitoring systems for all types of textile equipment.

The company is the largest supplier of PC control systems to the textile industry, according to Sales Director Tony Webber. He added that Adaptive serves other industries, too, and can generally integrate seamlessly into other industries.

Adaptive Control, which also has an office in the U.K., has dedicated technicians who know the textile industry, and the company can provide onsite customization to ensure the best possible solutions for many processes, Webber added.

“We have now integrated resources to areas such as boiler, water and electrical usage,” he said. “This enhances sustainability and the responsibility to control all aspects of usage.”

To remain competitive over the past decade, the company “has grown on its reputation for first-class control engineering, customer service and a willingness to listen to requirements demanded by the industry,” Webber said.

During that period, Adaptive’s production host system, Plant Explorer, has become a world leader and has been acknowledged at several ITMA shows as a “true innovation,” according to Webber. “Adaptive has and will continue to embrace new technologies and bring these to the marketplace,” he added.

The company has begun the year with a strong order book and has numerous other opportunities, Webber said.

“We are very optimistic and we see a trend for the textile industry to strengthen,” Webber said. “Adaptive Control is ready to serve and help everyone prosper. We will continue to embrace new technologies and social media.”
