ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Geotechnical Frontiers 2017, the largest gathering of its kind in the industry, is preparing for a great show thanks to a record number of requests received in its recent call for presentations.

Event co-organizers Industrial Fabrics Association International received more than 880 abstracts from potential presenters, event General Secretary Barbara Connett said.

"It's a record-breaking start," Connett added. "The interest we are seeing from all over the industry has been incredible."

The deadline for abstract submissions has now passed, but there are still ways to get involved. Email bjconnett@ifai.com or visit the event website for more information.

Geotechnical Frontiers 2017 will be held March 12-15, 2017 in Orlando, Fla., and is a must-attend event for the geotechnical, civil engineering and geo-professional communities.

The conference is co-organized by the Industrial Fabrics Association International and the Geo-Institute, and is supported by the North American Geosynthetics Society under the auspices of the International Geosynthetics Society.
