The annual FabricLink Network (FLN) Top 10 Textile Innovation Awards are presented annually as recognition to those organizations and product developers who pursue their ideas and strive for excellence in their textile advancements.

 

Each year, the FabricLink Network's Top 10 Innovation Awards acknowledge new textile products and technologies that showcase outstanding developments that have been officially launched over the past year, and are commercially available. The FabricLink Network is honoring the Top 10 Innovations for 2016-2017.

 

The 2016-17 awards include:

 

  • Applied DNA Sciences for the CertainT™ Platform;

  • Freudenberg Performance Materials for its comfortemp® fiberball padding;

  • Electro-Yarn Introduced by Marubeni America Corporation;

  • Evrnu and Levi Strauss & Co. for the first jean made from regenerated post-consumer cotton waste;

  • Noble Biomaterials, Inc. and Bemis Associates for their Circutex® technology infused with Sewfree®;

  • ReSafe/ATIKS Mark VIII for its innovative safety glove;

  • Schoeller for its schoeller®-WB-400 layered insulating fleece;

  • Spinnova for its new wood fiber yarn; and

  • Advanced Fabric Technologies for Xtegra™ an auxetic fabric.
