ATLANTA – The second edition of Texprocess Americas held May 13-15, 2014 at the Georgia World Congress Center here has been recognized for an overall increase in total attendance by Trade Show Executive Magazine’s Fastest 50 Class of 2014.
Each year Trade Show Executive honors the 50 fastest-growing shows in three categories: net square feet of paid exhibit space, number of exhibiting companies and total attendance.
Texprocess Americas received honors for the increase in total attendance, welcoming 2,975 visitors during the show in 2014 versus the 2,464 visitors that were recorded in 2012.
“Making the Fastest 50 list is a sign of success and underlines our commitment to the industries that we serve,” said Dennis Smith, president, Messe Frankfurt North America. “Also, this accomplishment is a great motivator to our team, in Atlanta and around the world that sells and organizes our textile events.”
Texprocess Americas was co-located with Techtextil North America and JEC Americas, which resulted in an unparalleled event creating the largest technical textiles, nonwovens, sewn products and equipment, and composites trade show in the United States.
Trade Show Executive magazine will present the award during the Awards and Summit celebration held May 19-21 at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago. The awards presented will be based on increase in sold net square feet of exhibit space, increase in total number of exhibiting companies and increased total attendance.
