BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – George C. Moore Company has been recognized with the 2016 Partner of the Year award by Fruit of the Loom, Inc. (FOL).

 

Additionally, the narrow fabric manufacturer has also been named a "Top 10 Supplier" by Fruit of the Loom. The Top 10 Partners are determined based on their performance on various metrics from the full group of Fruit of the Loom suppliers.

 

"This is a very important recognition for us since this means that our company has been ranked among the top 10 suppliers out of 150 trusted suppliers in all categories that are part of their network. We are very appreciative of the focus and commitment from all of our associates to make this possible," said Andrew K. Dreher, George C. Moore division president.

 

This year George C. Moore Company celebrates 108 years of history. Its production facility is located in El Salvador, Central America and its headquarters are in Rhode Island.

 

"The success of our mill throughout the years is based on our consistent commitment to quality and performance, and primarily on the fact that our associates truly care for the success of our company. On behalf of our more than 400 employees, we are honored to receive this recognition from a world class brand like Fruit of the Loom,” Dreher said.

 

George C. Moore manufactures printed, Jacquard and knit narrow elastic for underwear, intimate apparel, athletic compression garments, men’s and women’s slacks, performance apparel, dancewear, swimwear, orthopedic & medical, industrial and safety markets. Its value-added services include cutting and looping, fabricated waistbands, silicone applications, technical performance finishes and permanent fire resistance, among other value added initiatives.
