Banking on the success of its meeting in Raleigh, N.C., two-and-a-half years ago, the Southern Textile Association (STA) plans to return to N.C. State’s College of Textiles for its Northern Division Spring Meeting.
The event will take place on Tuesday, April 4 at the College’s Convocation Center, Room 2225. Tours of the College of Textiles will be offered on the afternoon of Monday, April 3 from 2- 4 p.m.
Program speakers include:

Mark Fischer, interim executive director, North Carolina Textile Foundation, N.C. State’s College of Textiles;

Kent Hester, director, Student and Career Services, N.C. State’s College of Textiles;

Dr. Michael Walden, William Neal Reynolds Distinguished Professor and Extension Economist, N.C. State University;

James Chesnutt, CEO and chairman, National Spinning Co., Inc.; and
-
Martha A. Miller, vice president, Business Development, and Wade Tyner, manager, Applications Engineering, at APJeT, Inc.

Golf will be played after the meeting on Tuesday, April 4 at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course at N.C. State.
