COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance (SCMA) announced winners of its 2017 Plant Safety Awards, which will be presented during its annual Safety Summit March 14-16 at The Marriott in Spartanburg, S.C.

 

Several textile companies were among the winners, including Glen Raven Custom Fabrics, Hamrick Mills, Highland Industries, Inman Mills, Leigh Fibers, Milliken & Co., Mohawk Industries, Mount Vernon Mills, Sage Automotive Interiors, Shaw Industries and Springs Creative Product Group.

 

Awards will be given at the conclusion of the Safety Summit on March 16.

 

In addition to the SCMA, other co-hosts include South Carolina OSHA and the South Carolina National Safety Council.

 

The registration fee for the March 14 activities is $85 per person. To attend the entire three-day summit, the cost is $255.
