TROISDORF, Germany – Reifenhäuser Maschinenfabrik announced that it has sold two of its companies, Reimotec Maschinen -und Anlagenbau and Reimotec Winding Technology, to Dietze+Schell Maschinenfabrik of Coburg, Germany, effective February 1.

 

The two sold companies are involved in monofilaments, strapping tapes and artificial turf.

 

Recently, Dietze+Schell purchased Sima and Techno Plastic.

 

The Reifenhäuser Group is a leading supplier of plastics extrusion lines, machines and components for the production of cast films, blown films, sheets and nonwovens.

 

The Dietze+Schell Group is a leading producer of spooling, texturizing, cutting and extrusion lines for applications in areas such as glass fibers, carbon, technical yarns and tapes, as well as artificial turf and strapping tapes.

 

Terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
