MEMPHIS – The National Cotton Council of America will hold its Annual Meeting this week, February 6-8, at The Peabody Hotel here.

 

The convention's first open events begin at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6 with the National Cotton Ginners Association’s board of directors’ session and its annual meeting. The American Cotton Producers meeting at is scheduled for 3 p.m. that day.

 

The NCC’s planting intentions survey results will be announced on Saturday, Feb. 7 at about 9:30 a.m. CST during the Program Committees Joint Meeting and Economic Outlook, which begins at 8 a.m.

 

All attendees are invited to attend a “Welcome to Memphis” reception on Friday night in the hotel. The Saturday luncheon will feature "American Politics, Today and Tomorrow” by Ron Brownstein, a political analyst and columnist. The final event, the General Session, begins at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 8 and concludes at noon. It will feature a report from NCC Chairman Wally Darneille and a special video presentation summarizing the NCC’s 2014 activities.
