BLOOMFILED HILLS, Mich. – The Crypton Companies announced the appointment of Bart Kennedy to vice president of Nanotex®, according to Randy Rubin, CEO and founder of Crypton.

 

Kennedy joins Nanotex from Lenzing Fibers, where he led the business development teams for North and South America.  Kennedy brings with him a wealth of experience, having held multiple fiber management positions, including positions with DuPont (INVISTA) and Courtaulds Fibers.

 

“Bart’s combination of strategic business development acumen and technical experience in apparel and home textiles will be invaluable as we continue to grow the Nanotex business,” said Rubin.

 

Kennedy will be responsible for the overall business development of the Nanotex operations.

 

“We’re extremely excited to have Bart on our executive team,” Rubin said.

 

Kennedy is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree from the Poole School of Business Management. He resides in Basking Ridge, N.J., with his wife and two children.
