The combined company now has a total of four productions sites on three continents. They are located in Bramsche, Germany; Neugersdorf, Germany; Pulaski; and Zhangjiagang, China. Current and future Heytex and BondCote customers will benefit from quicker response in products and information from the entire group, according to the companies.

Current BondCote management and employees will be retained, according to the companies. BondCote will be the center of operations for North America, including sales, technical, and logistics for all of Heytex Group’s products.

PULASKI, Va. And BRAMSCHE, Germany – Germany-based Heytex, a manufacturer of coated and laminated technical textiles, announced it has bought Pulaski, Va.-based BondCote Corp.

 

BondCote specializes in coated and laminated textiles serving defense equipment, transportation, specialized industrial, commercial tent, and leisure and sports markets. The company, established in 1949, employs 80 people.

 

Heytex develops, produces and sells technical textiles for applications such as commercial and industrial tents, truck side curtains, dock shelters and flexible doors. In addition, technological premium products include biogas membranes, architectural membranes, flexible container textiles and bellows fabrics.
