MILAN – At ITMA, PMT Ribbons Srl introduced the DARWIN Narrow Fabrics Dyeing Line featuring Farbenpunkt GmbH’s Peracto dyes.

 

The Darwin incorporates a fully automated color kitchen to dispense and mix Peracto F dyes on demand. Peracto F are NANO dyes and, when combined with Farbenpunkt’s Aligent fixation agent, produce a stable, permeant bond with various textile substrates.

 

Peracto F Dyes are fixed at lower temperatures and require no after-fixation washing.  Energy savings are realized through lower fixation temperatures, elimination of washing and final drying.

 

The simplified process results in a continuous narrow fabrics line that requires fewer machinery modules, thereby reducing complexity and capital cost. The PMT Ribbons DARWIN NF Dye Line provides complete tension control from entry through exit.
