RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – AATCC is sponsoring a symposium entitled Wet Processing of Textiles with Spandex: Best Practices, to be held on February 11-12 at Gaston College’s Textile Technology Center-Kimbrell Campus in Belmont, N.C.

 

Program sessions will address best processing practices and focus on wet processing of the major fibers with spandex, fabric innovation, the importance of spandex blends in apparel, physical and colorfastness testing, retailer/brand perspectives and an open discussion on real-world challenges of processing spandex blends. As part of the program, attendees will tour the Textile Center.
